I have read the book Eat Right For Your Type and I am very interested in the views posited therein. Their basic hypothesis is that blood type indicates body chemistry, and when you eat right for your type, you're giving the body the kind of nutrition it needs.
I have as yet to uncover any hard scientific evidence supporting or discrediting Eat Right For Your Type. Do you have any information to offer me?

Many people have followed the Eat Right For Your Type guidelines, and nearly all of them have success with the diet. So anecdotal evidence supports the tenets of Eat Right For Your Type.
As far as scientific support, though the official website lists a lot of scientific evidence supporting Eat Right For Your Type, there is little if any direct scientific evidence supporting the diet.
It is certainly true that different people have different genetic makeups, and that different body chemistries react differently to different diets. But the reason that blood type is chosen as the predominant indicator of body chemistry is beyond us.
Having said that, many people have tried the Eat Right For Your Type diet and have had success with it.
